For those into writing music:
- 11 8 time signature,
- a mono Akai sampler that could handle no more than 8 sounds,
- a Juno 106 synth, and
- a Boss digital delay pedal.
I took my gear around to Bevan Smith’s flat because he had a DAT to record the results on to. I had no way to record at home accept straight to tape on a home stereo. Bev suggested replacing the kick I’d sampled with a sample of his 808. Good idea.
