Jet Jaguar 'Four' remix #5 Shanalog
I'm releasing 'Four' on Sunday, 1st July. Over the week I'll serve up each of the 7 remixes that make up half the tracks, along with the relevant original track. I've actually got a blog post queued up to link to one of Auckland producer Shanalog's free tracks off his second EP, 'Nature'. Bit weird, will feel like oblique promo when it publishes... Shannon is also half of the endlessly curious Deer Park.
Curiously this track actually began life as a remix I did for someone else, back in 2004. Adelaide producer Tim Koch asked if I'd remix one of his tracks, and this is roughly what I came up with. The remix was never used and Tim kindly agreed that I could go ahead and put it out as one of my own tracks. Just maybe you can figure out where the name came from.
