Jet Jaguar 'Four' remix #1 NAT WALKR

I'm releasing 'Four' on Sunday, 1st July.  Over the week I'll serve up each of the 7 remixes that make up half the tracks, along with the relevant original track.  At any time, check in on the Soundcloud set for the album to listen to all the tracks uploaded so far, including a free download of one of the originals, 'Awry Smile'.  You can pre-order the album as a $5 DL or $15 CD too.

NAT WLKR is a Wellington-based producer, with a clear love of that bass music business happening predominantly in the UK and Europe.

Nat's a bit of a regular at Ex.d Experiential Differential events, and recently played support for Lapalux and the ever-ridiculously-named oOoOO.  If you're local, definitely try and go check him out, playing 20th July at an Ex.d x Hip Drop night.  More info on Ex.d's Facebook page.

Unusually for the remixers on 'Four' I've actually met Nat in the flesh (OK, only once).

Nat's remix is a pretty major rework of my 2005 track.  I was riffing on New Orleans funk and The Neptunes (think Snoop & Pharell's 'Beautiful'), trying to see if I could mix that kind of rhythm section with some of my typical slicing, phasing, rephrasing of softer samples.
